New parking permits were issued to vendors beginning April 30, 2019. Here's what you need to know about the new system:
Zone A – ORANGE TAG: back row of NFM lot available for Monday-Friday merchants; permit required; NO weekend parking as you MUST USE STATE LOTS ON WEEKENDS and during NIGHT MARKET
Zone B – BLUE TAG: charging station lot available for market house merchants; permit required; available daily
Zone C – GREEN TAG: fence line available for Monday-Friday merchants; permit required; limited availability; NO weekend parking as you MUST USE STATE LOTS ON WEEKENDS and during NIGHT MARKET
Zone D – RED TAG: Assigned fenceline space for merchants requiring special parking accommodations; permit required; limited availability on case-by-case basis
Zone E – NO TAG: state lots available for merchant parking during all NIGHT MARKETS, SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS in order to maximize on-site customer parking availability; permit not required
Permits are not provided to Saturday-and-Sunday-ONLY merchants, all of whom are required to unload and park in available state lot parking in the area.
Permits for Zones A–E will be available in the NFM office on Tuesday, April 30 and are effective as of Wednesday, May 1. Management will assign zones and issue permits on an ongoing basis; merchants may not select their zone or mandate a specific parking zone, space or permit.
Permits must be displayed on the vehicle DASHBOARD at all times. Failure to do so will result in towing. Warnings will not be provided.
Permits are not interchangeable. You may not use Zone A in Zone C, etc.
Repeat parking violations will result in suspension from the Market.
The Museum lot, the NFM lot rows 1 and 2 and 6th and 7th are limited to two-hour parking. Violators will be towed. Parking in undesignated areas will result in towing. Permits for 6th Avenue parking expire next week and warning citations will be given by Park Rangers for repeat offenders.
