FRESH SAVINGS AT NASHVILLE FARMERS' MARKET
Fresh Savings is a program that allows you to buy more fresh fruits and vegetables with your SNAP card at the Nashville Farmers’ Market, because we give you an extra $20 for every $20 you spend with one of our designated farmers.
How the program works
Each customer can spend up to $20 on their SNAP card with every farmer at the Nashville Farmers’ Market who accepts EBT. Shoppers should save their receipts and bring them to the Fresh Savings booth on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to receive up to $20 back in Fresh Savings tokens. These tokens can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the market season, however Fresh Savings tokens will expire when the market season is over.
The Fresh Savings tokens are given out at the Nashville Farmers’ Market information booth located between the two Farm Sheds under the white tent.
Receipts are accepted every Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
how it helps
Fresh Savings allows our customers on SNAP to shop smarter and eat healthier. Eating a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables can encourage good health and avoid sickness, and encourage a better sense of well-being. Any customer on SNAP can access the Fresh Savings program at the Nashville Farmers’ Market every Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
