The Friends of the Nashville Farmers' Market is a group of caring customers, community activists, chefs and culinary professionals who are interested in promoting the growth and success of local farmers through activities based at the Nashville Farmers' Market.

The Friends goals are to:

  • Improve the availability of a diverse range of locally produced, high quality foods

  • To connect local producers and farmers to to chefs, restauranteurs and the public

  • To support small family farms and promot a healthier society through education and appreciation for local, fresh and sustainably raised produce and products

  • Preserve our environment for future generations and raise awareness of local environmental issues
